This was just ok. It’s not really a thriller, but more of a unique take on a character study of a previously abused teen in foster care. I had a hard time getting into the writing style, the whole book was written in Millie’s mind as if she were talking to her mother.

I wish the book would have gone into a more thrilling direction, with Millie killing (or just sabotaging) her bullies throughout the book though it would have defeated the “good Millie” character arc we had gotten throughout the book.
