Calling on the Matchmaker by Jody Hedlund

DNF at 24% (chapter 7)

I saw this book on Instagram reels saying it was a cute historical romance and expected something like Queen Charlotte (never seen Bridgerton). It was a bit disconcerting when I asked the worker at Barnes & Nobel where it was and they led me to the religious section. (Not saying that's bad, seeing as I'm Christian, but that's not exactly what I like to read.)

First off, both Finola and Riley are the most annoying main characters to ever exist. Finola doesn't want a man and wants to be a nun, and Riley is the 1840's version of a fuck boy.

For a book that was in the religious section he sure did talk about her body a lot, I just couldn't go on with it.

I was highly disappointed, hoping for a cute romance and getting a sex-centered boy wanting a pick me girl because he saw her changing.

Don't recommend.
