This is How You Lose the Time War by Max Gladstone, Amal El-Mohtar
4.0
This is one of those books that you have to really sit with while you read. I will say doing the audio helped a lot for me personally.
Two women traveling through time and space(and yes it is confusing) who are on opposite sides of a war. It starts with a letter and from there the relationship they share through their letters grows. Enemies to deep love that they don’t share until the end.
I don’t think I’m actually smart enough to fully understand this book, but what I will say that is if you like lyricism and poetic writing you will love this.
