I really enjoy most of Priest's books, but this one didn't quite grab me as much as I wanted to. The story was interesting, but I guessed the bad guy the moment we met them, and I felt like I was standing outside and looking in on something, instead of actually being part of the story. It may have only been my own mental state that did this, and I generally did like it.
