What a debut novel for Julie Soto! I loved the alternating timelines we got with Ama's POV in the present and Elliot's in the past. It genuinely made me curious to see how they got to where they are that I couldn't stop reading.

Ama is a ball of sunshine and social energy that people can't help but be drawn to. I love books where, though the main character is fully capable and talented in their profession, they still have their doubts, fears, and insecurities, and their love interest enters to complement their potential. Elliot does just that. He sees Ama's capabilities and fully supports her. He proves that, as grumpy as he could be, he actually has a warm and soft heart.

The only reason this wasn't a 5 star was that I thought the ending was a bit rushed and I would've loved to see more moments between Ama and Elliot as a couple.

Forget Me Not is a cute second chance love story with a broody, grumpy florist and a sweet, hardworking wedding planner. I am beyond excited for Julie's next book to come out later this year!
