I have heard good things about this book, but it was more than I could have ever imagined. What a beautiful picture of faithfulness and God's provision. The ten Boom family were people who loved and lived the word of God throughout the darkest of times. Throughout the German occupation of Holland and even imprisonment in Ravensbruck, Corrie ten Boom let God continually refine her into a person that truly sought God's will above all else.

I listened to this book on audio and wanted to ignore the rest of my life as I devoured this memoir. Corrie ten Boom has been a hero of the faith for many for years and now she is a hero to me for my faith as well. I will think of this book often. I am already searching for a beautiful vintage copy of this one to add to my shelves.
