4.5

Another super solid installment in this Web-serial / Isekai / Portal Fantasy / whatever you wanna call it.

At 1.1 million words this was already a really long volume but they just get bigger from this point on (they read very fast though) and if it's ever getting published in print, it will be three books.

The breaks in these books are very distinct and I also thought the books varied a bit in quality.

The first book would be "The Rains of Liscor" which had a bit of a weird structure with the climax happening at about 2 thirds of its length and the rest was it dealing with the aftermath. I thought everything leading up to said Climax was excellent but there were some really weak chapters afterwards, so I gave this one a 4/5

The second book "The Blood of Liscor" was my favorite out of all TWI I have read so after. It really had me glued to my Kindle and contained everything I've grown to love about this series, varying from incredibly funny moments to really tense and exciting chapters. --> 5/5

The third book called "The Tears of Liscor" has all of this as well, but my main problem here was that the overall story was very predictable and yeah I kind of knew at any point during it where it was going. Still a really enjoyable read but I gotta deduct half a point for that --> 4.5/5

So this leads to the overall 4.5/5 rating for the whole volume. Making this my third favorite so far.
