Control was definitely completely different than Lasairiona's other books, and I loved every page of it. I thought Thor and Adi's start as dominant and submissive was really well done and I enjoyed how their love story came to be. This book also has the single dad trope which is already a win in my eyes. They were so open and honest with each other and I loved the vulnerability of it all. I think the spice was so good and felt researched and thought out while also being so incredibly hot and enjoyable to read. I already was hooked on Adi and Thor after meeting them back in the Snow Pirates series and I definitely fell in love with them even more, especially watching them learn to take care of Matthew, an autistic 11 year old. This story was so heartfelt and felt so real and thought out. For something so spicy to work so nicely in other areas is something that I think Lasairiona does exceptionally well. The friendships are great and the open conversations surrounding this lifestyle are incredibly valuable. I only wish Adi would have told her family off, but doesn't change my overall love for the story. SO GOOD! Thanks Lasairiona for the ARC!
