This was probably my favourite of the first 8 books. I guess because the problems were starting to get more intense than previous books. In this book, Michael tells Mia that he's going to Japan for a year or more. Mia freaks out and wonders if she should finally have sex with him in a ploy to get him to stay. This leads to realistic problems.

Lilly is going out with J.P, who seems to have an interest in Mia. Grandmere is still crazy and Fat Louie is still fat.

Quite dramatic compared to the last ones. Makes me want to read the last two books in the series. Will keep an eye out for them in the library.
