What if someone accidentally writing about plurality didn't make it weird and just wrote a really competent exploration of trauma with a fantasy twist? And also there were heaps of court politics and historical politics to go along with that? What then? Well then I would gobble that book down and lament bitterly that the author appears to have no other works approaching publication.
