Okay, I totally was not expecting to love this book as much as I did! Like I was hoping to enjoy it but based on reviews I kind of went in with low expectations. 😅 Also I was not expecting this to make me so emotional?
This is definitely not a book that should be taken too seriously. At some points it seems almost too ridiculous with what happens but I loved it anyway! It's action packed, with just the right amount of romance and a sprinkle of humor and tear jerking moments. 😂 Maddie is like the perfect character and I loved her. 😍 She was badass while not doing away with her femininity entirely and she just felt real. I would definitely recommend if you want a lighter book with survival, Alaska and a touch of romance. Also some evil Russians are involved which makes things interesting. 😏

I think my only true complaint was sometimes the switching of perspectives could get confusing as they weren't always the clearest distinction between Maddie and Logan. Along with the writing style made them feel a bit distant and like not the most character development but I still adored it nevertheless. 😅
