I was desperately looking around for a good audiobook to listen to and found this on Libby. It definitely kept me hooked the whole time! It's been awhile since I've read any kind of mystery and this was a great one to jump back into. It didn't seem overly obvious or predictable. I really enjoyed the characters and the small town setting. I also loved the audiobook voice actors. They both did a fantastic job. I think Ashley Elston did an excellent job of writing chapters from the killer's POV and not giving any obvious hints on who it was. They were bizarre and just kept you wondering. I also loved the peek into this small town's justice system and the reality that's it's fucked up and shitty.
