Kiss Her Once for Me by Alison Cochrun

5.0

“Kissing Jack makes me feel like home is the place we'll build together…” This book was nothing short of a ridiculous rom com but I loved every single thing about it. I’ve haven’t related to a main character in a while like I related to Ellie. A perfectionist with a fear of failure and who doesn’t let people in like I’m looking in the mirror. Ellie convincing herself that she’s a failure when in reality she never even tried like I needed to read this. Then you have the hilarity of the situation that is faking an engagement for money with a man who turns out to be the brother of the woman you fell in love with and can’t forget. This brought on many moments that I laughed out loud for like great comedy throughout this entire book. Like this was amazing before it even began. Ellie and Jack were just a mess but I loved them together. I loved that they both were trying so hard to fight their want to be together just to not be able to. The entire final scene was so funny and had just the right amount of heart. This book just had it all and I got to the experience the joy of reading it!
