Arsenic in the Azaleas (Lovely Lethal Gardens Book 1) by Dale Mayer

5 Stars

This was such a fun, light, easy read. I love cozy mysteries and this one fit the bill for why I love them. My favorite part of the whole book was Thaddeus, Mugs, and Goliath. I have Thaddeus’s twin in my home named Buddy, and I felt Doreen’s hilarious frustration throughout the entire story.

Kudos to this author for writing this in a way that I never figured anything out. I know I got kind of angry and suspicious a few times at one character, but knew that would have been too obvious and would have really made this whole story awkward for Doreen.

I absolutely love the back and forth between Mack and Doreen and since I do plan on reading more of this series, I have hopes for even more of them.

I truly enjoyed this read. It was light and easy and a whole lot of fun. This is my first read by this author but definitely not my last.
