The Royal Ranger: A New Beginning by John Flanagan

5.0

Wow. Just wow. I had the same reaction the first time I finished this book. I believe the author pulled everything together perfectly and ended the series with a bang. I was a mix of emotions, happy to see how far Will, Horace and Cassandra had come, yet at the same time sad that they're all grown.

While this is the book with the most heartfelt flashbacks and "awwww" moments, I've decided it's one of my favorites. Upon finishing it, it made me want to restart the series all over again. But instead, I'm going to finally read the Brotherband Chronicles, a spin off to the rangers apprentice.

Just as a side note. I don't think Halt will ever die.
