Myten om Sisyfos by Albert Camus

challenging reflective slow-paced

2.25

It’s clear to me that I like Camus better as a novelist with philosophical content than as a philosopher with, well, you could say a poets approach to the language. The ideas are layered and the understanding of one level demands the understanding of others. This paired with a highly sophisticated, and often way too specialized, language leaves me scratching my head. The fun part of the read is when you are super alert and tries really hard to get it and becomes wholly invested in the book, for a short time. Then you can also glimpse the scope of the ideas.
