After finishing this volume I still have SO many questions I need answers to. Is Hide alive? How did Kaneki Haise lose his memories? Does the gang from Anteiku know that Kaneki is alive? What happened to Seido and Amon — have they been turned into ghouls? Why is Hinami joining the AUGORI? I’m really intrigured to get some answers lol.

Suprisingly I already really like a lot of the new characters (well except maybe for Urie, but I think he’ll turn out to be really interesting). I loved seeing more of Akira and seeing a different side of Arima other that him being this indestructible prodigy. I loved the softer side of Haise, unexposed as he is to the horrible memories of his past he only catches glimpses of. Yet he’s still haunted by his past self who wants to resurface despite Haise’s attempts to suppress it.

I think the CCG making Quinxes is really foul, they are condemning Dr Kano for his experiments and yet they proceed to experiment with ghouls and humans just like he did (even though it’s for a ”greater” purpose).
