Striking Distance by Sarah Rees Brennan

I’ve read the graphic novels so when I saw there was a novel coming out, I knew I would read it. Whether it was the ease of the writing, the story, or my interest in the characters, I couldn’t put this one down. I am a bit disappointed that the one romance I was anticipating hasn’t been hinted at in any of the books yet, but maybe it will still happen? The thing that frustrated me about the novel is that every character makes assumptions about the other characters which they allow to alter to how they approach situations. I know that humans act that way, and that is drives the plot, but it still frustrated me see characters fumble based on false ideas. The assumptions lead to what I hope will be continued in the next novel, assuming there will be one.
