Abby is a 19 year old living just outside of Boston before the start of the American Revolution. Her father is a staunch Patriot and is helping with the pre-war efforts. When she is pulled into a secret mission with her father and a Tory posing gentleman in Boston, she quickly realizes things aren’t what they seem. When she gets the opportunity to move into a Tory household, she uses this to her advantage to keep her ear to the ground and reports back. This book was fantastic and I really enjoyed Abby’s story. It was a quick read and there’s nothing better than a kick ass female who puts her life on the line to help those around her.
