Okay, at first I wasn’t going to read this book cause I was worried. I really did love the house of night series. So I gave it chance.

I loved the characters they were perfect and there was so much diversity. They still added in horses here. Which I’m glad cause they didn’t change that.

The story was pretty interesting. At least it was entirely different from HON. We still stayed with the elements. I really loved the graphics in the story, it was adventurous and thrilling and packed full out sarcasm and more.

But there was one thing I didn’t love and that was the romance. It felt forced and unnecessary. It was too instant and this is coming from someone who doesn’t really like romance. Like it was way too obvious and I felt like the book would have been more enjoyable without it. That’s where I was let down. It just felt out of place with the premise and such .


But other that it was a good ride and I’m kind iffy of continuing it if another book comes out.
