4.5 stars!

What a wonderful surprise this was! After only a few chapters I was transfixed by this mystical world. The writing felt very lyrical to me, and while I can see how to some it might come across as slightly pretentious, I loved getting lost in the flow of the words and thoroughly enjoyed the verbal sparring between Alizeh and Kamran.

This Woven Kingdom is not huge in scope, but to me it was the perfect introduction into this Persian mythology inspired world and I can’t wait to dive in deeper. The ending has me very excited for the next book in the series. Fortunately, I won’t have to wait long!!
