Pride: The Unlikely Story of the Unsung Heroes of the Miner's Strike by Tim Tate

Honestly this is a great book for the state of the world right now. It’s written as if it’s an oral storytelling of the times and political climate in the 80s, and more than anything I took from it a better perspective on the government, less apathy towards politics and more of a belief that people can actually make changes if they come together. And with governments as shit as we have, a little hope goes a long way.
