Fifty Shades of Alice in Wonderland by Melinda DuChamp

5.0

The blurb about this really caught my eye and being a fan of Alice in Wonderland, I couldn't resist picking it up. It delivered on so many different ways, I'm not even sure where to begin. Contained a little bit of everything, from bondage and light whipping, to oral, to sex chairs, there was a way it made it seem so very normal and everyday.

I have heard some people say it's not a serious romance, and I would very much disagree with them. Alice, her boyfriend Louis, and their sexual problems are what leads Alice to Wonderland to begin with and the ending was quite a satisfying conclusion. The subject is handled with quite a bit of humor and the occassional pun (yes, pun). It had me laughing, blushing, and considering deep thoughts all at the same time. It takes some talented storytelling to accomplish that.

You get to meet all the classic characters, attend a tea party, and even play croquet with the Queen. I only wish I already owned the second in the series so I could have jumped right into it. If you are looking for a fun non-threatening look at the BDSM world, this is the perfect read for you.
