Romance line is a swoon-worthy type of romance, athlete publicist sparing, underwear fetish, and tons of hilarious banter wrapped in the irresistible allure of forbidden love.

This story was perfectly Performed with duet narration by Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Edwin!

These two phenomenal narrators brought the story and the Characters of the broody grumpy goalie Max and the ever positive sunny publicist Everly soaring to life!

Ok let’s get into this.   

Max 

emotionally weary with a secret disposition of being sweet loving and caring but will cut you down with his sharp looks and no nonsense vibes and words.. in other words he’s blunt. 

But after his stint with media Max had decided to steer clear of them at any cost until this very persistent publicist with a somewhat sunny disposition. 

Everly

is up for a promotion but is  painfully tasked with improving the image of the grumpy broody downright gorgeous but positively oh so infuriating Max, the goalie of the team that refuses to even give the media the time of day.. hence making her work super hard and his image on the decline where he could lose sponsorship or worse be traded!

But as they work together, Max and Everly attractions starts to take off, they soon began to recognize that they both are feeling the same. Despite Max’s broody demeanor which is a mask he wears daily he knew that in order to get his chance with Everly he would have to let her in and show her just what’s behind the mask he wears daily and why. 

And Everly also has some decisions to make when banter turns to attraction and her professional feelings is upended into something else when it comes to the big Broody gorgeous goalie and the secret she tries to hide. 

The first rule of handling PR for a hockey team? Never hook up with a player.

But Max so loves pushing Everly's buttons every chance he gets. And amping up the undeniable attraction between them that creates not only amazing chemistry is icing on the cake, as Max does everything to put himself in Everly's path literally and figuratively! This also shows the possessive and protective side of Max, God I love this and enjoyed that particular scene .. it’s hilarious!

 But lord knows it was so hot! 

Speaking of hot .. you might want to turn up volume and listen at moderate speed as Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Edwin blaze up the angsty atmosphere and the spicy scenes! 

And we all know how well Lauren Blakely writes  spicy.. hawwwt as heck!

This story is another win and great addition to the series as we also get a glimpse of the other Characters.
