A great follow up, 4 solid stars. This book finally gave me the scene that I had been waiting from the first one, which was the group sex focused on Vieno. Hell yes.

Here the background plot keeps expanding. The case of corruption grows too big, which involves more than only Palani, but also gets to Lidon and Enar, as well as putting Vieno at risk. I liked the reveal of the investigation and how the book didn't fully finished that storyline because it's bigger now and it would've been rushed/not compelling otherwise.

Regarding the characters, this book focuses a bit more on Enar, the second alpha, who discovers his true identity (which is something that isn't that touched in omegaverse books) and his place within the foursome. It was great to see how he evolved from having doubts to feeling like he belonged. Palani was fantastic as always and I enjoyed following his eagerness to uncover the truth and attempt to make a change in the system for the better. Lidon discovering part of his own backstory was nice as well, although I do think the whole True Alpha was OTT, even more when there were new side characters introduced that become part of the pack. I have to admit that my favorite has always been Vieno, I have a pull towards omegas every single time. I found adorable how he made Lidon's house a home for all four and how well he took care of his mates. I also liked the empowering fact of the True Omega, another nice touch.

Finally, onto the relationships, it is nice to see a true poly where no one is left aside at any moment. I absolutely loved when the book emphasized on how Vieno is the piece that puts them together, that he is the center, as he should. Same as the first book, I adored the interactions between Lidon/Vieno and Palani/Vieno. I'm not the biggest fan of alpha/beta or beta/beta, but I appreciate the scenes between each "pair", the emotional side was never missing and I got the feeling that all belonged together.
