I bought this book immediately up on reading the Delilah Complex by the same author. The book follows the same plotline and Rose's other book. Rose is masterful at weaving a story that points the guilty finger to a character convincingly until the last 5 pages reveal the real killer. I was more surprised when this happened in the first book. The story held my interest but my real interest is in Detective Noah Jordaine. I swear if Dr. Morgan snow dumps the good detective I will have to stop reading. Her neurotic intimacy issues and obsessive nature with her daughter cannot possible hold my interest without New Orleans native, Jordaine.
