I have been putting this off until cosy season and it most definitely is the perfect winter read.
When Jeanie’s life is turned upside down her Aunt Dot signs over her small coffee shop in Dream Harbour, giving Jeanie the fresh start she is in desperate need of. Logan is the local farmer, and one night after his regular delivery to the cafe results in Jeanie nearly beating him with a baseball bat, a tale of tension begins.
Logan has been impacted by the loss of his parents as a child, along with a public proposal rejection. Jeanie is still trying to find her new self and new life, and the locals know everything about everyone’s business.
I absolutely loved this so much and I am so glad I waited until December to read it. This was just like Gilmore Girls but with a little more spice, which is something we didn’t know we needed, the only thing I can wish for with this was that there was a little more spice! There was so much tension and moments where they almost crossed that line, it was so good when they finally got there but I would of loved it even more.
Logan is definitely a top book boyfriend, flannel clad farmer who loves to please.
I just loved this so much, I cannot wait to get into more of Dream Harbour. Being from a small village I could relate to so many of the side characters in this and am so looking forward to seeing what happens with the rest of them! I’m so intrigued by Annie and Mac’s story but I will read any of them!
