Cute, not too deep into grief that it's hard to wade through. Predictable for the most part, but still an enjoyable read. I don't think I'm the type to enjoy the "SO dies and MC ends up with SO's BFF" trope, but this one was also tied into the "childhood unrequited love" trope, which I'm also not a big fan of. I saw it coming right away and although I was hoping against it the entire way, I ended up not being too bothered because I did like the way it happened.
