It hurts me to give this kind of rating to the book of a series that I whole-heartedly love. I know Pat said that this book was not written for all the Kingkiller Chronicles fans, that it was written for people who liked knowing more about Auri and her world. I was one of those people, but I guess, the flow of the book didn't work for me, even though I wanted it to, because I love Auri. I am going to read this book again next year and see if my opinion changes.
