I really like the concept of this books. Children going to strange worlds who fit them better than the real world? Sounds good, but there actually isn't anything really happening. Even for this amount of pages I think the world could be worked out better. The beginning was so extensive which left no time for better worldbuilding, character development or plot. Guess this series just isn't for me.
