I’ve been wanting to read more of this author and I think this was a great one to start with!! i loved it! I loved the age gap in the relationship with the girl being older as I feel like we don’t see that alot! (Or I don’t read books with it alot lol) and I really loved the plot line of two different worlds as well, I thought the small town our MMC was from was so charming and just helped out FMC grow so much as the lead did as well. I really liked watching the growth of our MMC in this as well as he realizes what he really wants in his life not what his town or family might want of him. I loved all the side characters and through they went along with the story so well! I also loved the little mermaid feeling this book had and the cameo of hunter the dog with his likeness to one of my favourite tiktok dogs the authors dog Tess!
