Rereading this with a different set of eyes really changed my initial thoughts about this book. Reading it now that I’m older made me realize how much I resonate with both Billy and Daisy in the decisions they had to make for themselves and Billy’s family even if it meant letting go of each other. It also made me appreciate other characters like Camila and Karen.

I know it’s impossible to get that feeling of reading a good book for the first time again but rereading this a few years later with a different perspective came pretty close to that.

Also, I read this along with the audiobook and I absolutely loved it. I loved the full cast and their performances were phenomenal. I loved the raw emotion they put into it and it felt like a true interview. Highly recommend.
