A really good series, though it gets annoying when half of the main character's dialog is explaining that he's gay. Midnighter is a conflicted individual with a dark past and a twisted love of violence. He is essentially irredeemable, yet is willing to cross the lines that better men will not.
To reiterate, Midnighter is great, but a few of the issues have terrible dialog since again half the time all he's doing is informing the audience that he's gay despite the fact that everyone knows that already. There is also a weird problem where one of the issues in the omnibus was backward, not a huge issue, but really annoying since I got the digital version.
