I've had my copy of this book since it's relase and am only just now reading it. I can't believe I waited this long!!! this is such a strong start to the series; I cannot wait to dive into Chasm!! 
I loved McEwan's tone—somber and dark while also gritty and determined. Dawsyn was an awesome character and I love her rage!!! more rage like this please!!! Ryon was a fun love interest, I love that he fell first. 
the final battle felt a teeny bit anticlimactic for me but it was still exciting!
