I enjoyed this!! The rivalry between the MCs was believable, I enjoyed their relationship with their art and seeing behind the scenes of creating a comic. I also liked how they overcame their struggles, whether it’s Sage learning to accept leaning on others, or Noah proving to her scientific family that being an artist is a real career.

Unfortunately, I enjoyed these subplots more than the romance. The transition from reluctant colleagues/rivals to getting closer before they get romantically involved felt rushed, so the switch came a bit of nowhere. But once they’re together, they make a cute couple, and have chemistry and interesting conversations, especially about not letting their work affect their relationship.

I only had access to the audiobook and didn’t like either narrator, I might’ve rated it higher if I hadn’t read it that way. So while I recommend it, I’d say to stay away from the audiobook or listen to a sample first!!
