Holiday in Death by J.D. Robb

5.0

Well I think I am totally in love with this series ><
Here we have a very difficult and unhealthy case for Lieutenant Eve Dallas. While Christmas is almost here, a particularly sadistic killer dress up as Santa Claus to rape and kill members of a dating service "Personally Yours". For Eve, this is an opportunity to face her demons while trying to stop as soon as possible the killer before he destroys more innocent people.
I loved this case which keeps us in suspense and makes us to suspect everyone, even the most unimaginable one. That's what I love with the books of JD Robb, everyone can be suspect and yet we're often far from the truth =)
The personal lives of the characters are also at the heart of the book: Eve (who is just recovering from her last case) is preparing to celebrate her first real Christmas with Roarke (they are soooo cute together but without being too mushy, with romance, humor and arguments like couple =) ) I quite like McNabb even if I wait to see how it will evolve especially with Peabody, Peabody whom I appreciate more and more by the way x)
In short, a must read book !!
