This story had its sweet moments but struggled to maintain consistency. It began as insta-love, disguised itself as a slow burn, then transitioned into fake dating and friends-to-lovers. Unfortunately, instead of being intriguing, these twists and turns felt forced. Despite the variety of tropes, the story remained predictable to its core.

I found myself wanting to shout at Elaina, “Please decide what you want from Adam!” One moment, she insists they can’t be more than friends, and the next, she’s consumed by jealousy.

The writing style also leaves plenty of room for improvement.

On a positive note, the narrators did a good job.
