I really enjoyed this 2nd chance romance. Damien and Charlie were friends w/benefits at one point & Damien wanted more. Charlie declined a relationship with him because she felt like she wasn't deserving of his love due to trauma from her father. Charlie came from wealth & Damien thought she didn't want to further their relationship because he wasn't good enough for her. They both held these beliefs of the other that was the furthest from the truth. After two years go by, they meet again and the rest is history. Their relationship flourished naturally from that point & I loved the HEA.
