I loved this take on Hades and Persephone. It was one of those books where I knew exactly what I was getting into and I loved the vibes. I liked the moderness of it too. Persephone was in college and worked as a journalist which I thought was cool. I thought the bargaining aspect and contracts and such were interesting and I'm excited to see how they play into future installments of the series. This was the romantasy feeling I was craving and it delivered!! The spice was fantastic and the tension between Hades and Persephone was top tier. I'm definitely looking forward to the other books in the series and I thought this was a great way to set up the world and the characters!
