The Ivory Key by Akshaya Raman
2.0
I really wanted to love this book. The sibling dynamics, Indian characters, depleting magic, young royals trying to prove their mettle, it had everything going for it. But the plot felt a bit weak and slow at the beginning. By the time it picked up the pace in the second half, I was already bored and no longer invested in the characters.
I loved the world-building though and I am looking forward to reading more books by the author.
