How the hell did these two authors manage to make me like a spider?

I hate spiders.

Like, have a recurring nightmare about it raining spiders, HATE spiders.
In an old house I lived in in Texas I saw a giant wolf spider tarantula in the pantry and I slowly backed away, telling him he could have it, never went in the kitchen again, and had nightmares and the creepy crawlers because of it until the day I left that house.
I hate them.

Even reading about them in a book makes me paranoid that there are some near me.

But by some miracle, lust magic, these two managed to make Ketahn just humanoid enough to not freak me out. In fact I think he’s super sweet and even a bit..hot?
I mean that sex scene?!
Whew.
And that dress he Made her?! With his own silk nonetheless!

I’m flabbergasted.

I want more.
I need more.

I have to see these two get their HEA and save the vrix from the cruel queen.
