Oh, don't you love it when an author writes a tribute to his inner child, reliving the dreams and adventures his wondrous mind painted back then? Don't you love it when an author denounces the corruption of the grown-ups that traps them in a looped path, chasing after some nonsensical goal? Don't you love it when an author gently prods us to go back to our tender years to find ourselves again and to discover life again without the multitude of lenses we were forced to wear, which limited our view of the world so badly it made us prejudiced in many ways? This is the message that the little prince tries to deliver, and it does it so gently, and beautifully you can not help but be moved...
I understand why it inspired many stories out there, and I don't understand why it took me so long to finally read it. But I guess it's better late than never.
