Oh, how I yearn to be the goddess of light! Not in the way of being Mrs. Apollo, I just want to control the sun... That said, if this book is any indication of what dating Apollo would be like, count me in ;D
Caring, attentive, and strong-willed, Apollo is the kind of guy every girl wants. Did I mention he has piercing blue eyes and blond, curly locks? <3 Apollo is very swoon worthy, but he is far from the only lovable character. P. C. Cast did a great job making characters that played off each other, and I found myself enjoying all of them, even the spoiled goddess Artemis.

My one complaint is that there were too many cataclysmic events. Or, perhaps, it's just that there wasn't enough variety between them. We're dealing with gods! I want something more than they almost die fifty times. Where's the creative torment? The eternal suffering? It was disappointing, but not enough to turn me away from such a captivating romance. They chased each other in the rain for crying out loud! How much more adorable does it get?

I definitely have to read the others now, though I doubt any of the men can compete with Apollo. 4/5 cows hands down
