This is book 2 of the series and they should be read in order! This is a DARK fantasy romance series and I would highly recommend checking the triggers before jumping in. With that being said, if you've read book one, you probably know what you're getting yourself into. 

This book was similar in writing style and character building and it was still very very good. This book is dark, spicy, full of triggers, and trauma. There are lots of elements of fantasy but its a dark romance through and through. Overall very pleased and sooo glad I am able to jump right into book 3!
