I thought it was a brave thing that the author did in the last novel in the series. Sadly, it's all gone a bit Star Trek...

Still, I love the characters, the plots are entertaining and I find myself giggling out loud quite frequently (not so good when I'm on the train or at my desk at lunchtime!). It's going to be a heck of a shock when I run out of books in the series...
