Since it is by Gena Showalter there is no way it could be bad but compared to the other books in the series this one wasn't as good. I found myself waiting for Striders parts in the book rather than Amuns. I obviously wanted things to work out for him and hoped that him and Haidee could get it together but (sorry to Amun fans) I just don't find his character that interesting. I felt like the whole 'Secrets' aspected of him wasn't as huge as the other demons are to the other Lords like Gideon and Aeron. Stiders parts in the book were awesome. I can't wait to see what goes on with him and Kaia.

Despite the fact that this wasn't my favourite book in the series (Aeron gets that honour and as soon as Kane gets his book published I can bet you that his will be favourite of mine) it was still well written in typical Showalter fashion. She has me absolutely addicted to her books and I love her for it. Keep rockin' Gena.
