Depravity by Jacob Chance

If you're a fan of student/teacher trope (college level), single dad and age gap..then you've picked up the right book. Jacob might be one of the few male authors I've come across in the romance community and so I partly wanted to see what all the fuss is about. Well this book was a pleasant surprise to fuel that hype.

Professor Miles Decker is a man most women would dream about meeting in real life and the love he shows for his son gives him a million more bonus points. What I loved about this book is that it didn't jump on the insta-love train and the author builds on the growing relationship between a single father and his babysitter. Sophie isn't the typical party girl and the maturity she holds makes the relationship between these two so much more believable.

I was able to finish this book fairly quick and in one sitting. Depravity was my first introduction to Jacob Chance's work and this book checked all the boxes for a pleasurable experience. You'll get hit with some banter, angst, slow-burn, steaminess and of course a happily-ever-after to finish it off. I'll be looking forward to continuing the series and won't hold back from diving into another book from this author.
