I really enjoyed this. I liked the pace and the characters. Xavier and Marissa fit together really well. He does a lot of fucked up shit

imprisons her in his basement when she tries to leave him, switches out his birth control (but does swap them back)

and a lot of the time despite feeling a little bad- doesn’t care massively as it’s what he wants. He also doesn’t shy away from. Some more gruesome acts to protect Marissa

he kills her teacher and cuts his penis off after an attempted assault
