SIGH. Why wasn't 90% of the book written the way that the ending was written? I feel like the ending and the rest of the book are two completely separate storylines, it's confusing! I thought this was going to be one of my favorite reads of the year, but it ended up being a complete let-down. Since the ending was somewhat interesting (like, the last chapter. Not the epilogue, which also confused the hell out of me) I think I'm going to try and continue this series, but even after completing the book, I have to wrap my head around the plot.

Also, the thing that bugged me the most: 'In this romantic new fantasy'...ROMANCE WHERE. That one pathetic kiss scene? Ffs.
