A Tempest of Tea by Hafsah Faizal
4.0
Format: Print
I really enjoyed this. I don’t think it’s as complex a plot as We Hunt the Flame and We Free the Stars were, but it was great for a fun, fast-paced, action-packed read.
I will say not to go in necessarily expecting to like all characters – they definitely have their flaws – but I liked the relationships between them. And the secrets that they were all keeping actually made those relationships even more interesting, and I am very intrigued to see how the revelations impact the development of those relationships in the sequel.
The writing style was easy to follow and kept me engaged, and I’ll definitely be reaching for the sequel when it’s out.
